Teton Village
Located at the northern end of the “West Bank North” area, but deserving of being identified as its own unique market area, Teton Village is the home to the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and some of North America’s best skiing. In 1964 construction began on the Jackson Hole Ski Area and by 1966 developer Paul McCollister’s vision had become a reality, as Jackson Hole’s first aerial tram ferried skiers to the top of Rendezvous Mountains 10,450 foot peak in just over 10 minutes. Teton Village has grown dramatically over the past 50 years to become a world-class destination resort. Residential living opportunities in Teton Village range from condominiums built nearly concurrently with the resorts initial construction (but often having few remnants of their original interior décor) to luxury single-family homes and penthouse suites at the Four Seasons Resort. The inclusion of Teton Village properties in a resort district allows for their short-term rental for homeowners wishing to generate income while they are away from the Tetons.
