Saddle Butte
While the elevated views of East Gros Ventre Butte are most frequently associated with Spring Creek Resort and Riva Ridge, this does not do justice to Saddle Butte, which capitalizes on its predominantly east-facing orientation to frame the Cache Creek Drainage by day and the lights of Jackson by night. Saddle Butte Way leaves directly from the northwest boundary of the town of Jackson and fords Flat Creek to quickly gain 400 feet of elevation that provides panoramic views of the town of Jackson. From this point an additional 600 feet of elevation can be gained by continuing up Saddle Butte Drive, where east facing lots look over the town of Jackson and west-facing lots view the Teton Range. All this is accessed from a road emanating right out of the town limits of Jackson!
